Masteries

For Leona support, I take support masteries 0/9/21.

You could take 0/21/9 but I find the increased experience and GP5 I get from the support tree really helps for a smooth lane phase and the increased move speed allows for better mobility and reaching your destination faster.

Items

the intial items I take are:


Faerie Charm and


Rejuvenation bead to build towards an early philo stone.
As a support you will not be farming and will need the income from philo stone to remain viable items wise through out the game. GP5 is vital.


I also take a sight ward to protect from ganks. You should always aim to buy 2 or 3 wards on back because wards are vital to winning games. No wards = no map control. end of story.


you should also be able to afford one of these if you took the 0/9/21 masteries

Laning phase

on my first back I aim to get a
